How could we generate custom callouts on the base designs that could be edited in the field?

Challenges

Designing custom assets is labor intensive and tedious.

At the time, most 3D viewers weren’t user-friendly.

Solution

Utilizing Autodesk Fusion’s virtual model viewer, we were able to integrate custom assets designed in Fusion 360 directly into the company website.

The company sales team could now add custom callouts to 3D models per client configuration.

2D layouts of the company’s base models were added to their catalog and website as well. Below is the 2D layout drawing and catalog entry for the Classic Set.
